DESPERATE TIMES: As the effects of climate change are felt around the world with increasing temperatures and fluctuating weather patterns, the International Olympic Committee have decided to rebrand the Winter Olympics as the Summer Olympics 2 to remain relevant. While the IOC has committed to reduce carbon emissions in accordance with the Paris Agreement, they still believe this is the right direction for the event. Rejected names included the 'Blazing Olympics' and the 'Corruption Games'.
