After single-handedly carrying news platforms for the past 25 months, COVID-related news has been put on the backburner as the world turns its attention to other events. New wars and natural disasters have taken over and although 6,000 people still lose their lives to the virus daily, it's not the priority anymore. Evidently, it must be safe to announce that the pandemic has been officially eliminated.
