In multiple episodes, Stranger Things season 4 features the 1985 hit song by incredibly well-known English singer-songwriter, Kate Bush, 'Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)'. This has led many teenagers to begin gatekeeping the artist, claiming they have been fans of them for a while before the season released, and that they don't want them to suddenly shoot to stardom. This marks the second time this phenomenon has occurred this year, the first being with the 1991 Nirvana song, 'Something In The Way', which was featured in the new Matt Reeves film, The Batman
