Psychiatrist quits after they are unable to help woman with rogue Kmart addiction

A psychiatrist, Dr. Amy Spinks, suffered a severe breakdown resulting in her rage-quitting her decade long career after failing to help a middle-aged woman with a horrific Kmart addiction. The patient, a 37-year old suburban mother-of-two, had created Tik Tok videos of daily Kmart hauls, where she spent between $80-$400 on fuzzy socks, soap dispensers and artificial plants. After placing her family in thousands of dollars of debt and making them unable to pay their mortgage, her partner was forced to file for divorce and take custody of the kids. The woman started going to a psychiatrist in an attempt to regain custody, however this has proved futile after exhausting all forms of treatment.
