After winning the 2021 Grand Final, the Melbourne Demons fan base grew by quite a large margin after defeating the Western Bulldogs - and these new fans were happy after the Demons defeated the Bulldogs last night. On being asked who their favourite players were, our favourite answers were 'the tall bald guy with the beard' (Max Gawn), 'the guy who won the award' (Christian Petracca), and 'the beautiful mullet guy' (Bailey Smith - yes, he plays for the Bulldogs). Pundits give a high chance that these 'fans' will jump ship as soon as Melbourne lose their first game.
