Government modernises driving test by replacing it with Mario Kart race

A TRUE TEST: The government has introduced a Mario Kart themed driving test to deal with staff shortages associated with “too many teenagers failing their driver’s test.” A spokesperson said: "We hope that the new Mario Kart driving test will cater to the interests and abilities of younger generation drivers.” The new test involves completing the infamous Mario Kart ‘Rainbow Road’ course, with the only requirement to pass being that a “driver crosses the finish line”. This announcement will come as welcome news to 17-year-old Leo, who has already failed his driving test ten times.
