After reports have surfaced of facial recognition being used in Australian stores, conspiracy theorists were promptly on the case to figure out how it fit in their multi-layered theories - except they ran into a problem when trying to link facial recognition with mandatory mask usage. Sources state that they can't find a viable connection, as wearing masks almost negates the purpose of facial recognition, so what have they found? Well, nothing really. The current 'leading' theory is that the facial recognition software can also identify masks, and uses x-ray vision to see under the mask to identify the face.
