Ash Barty retires from real life tennis, starts training for Wii Tennis

In a shock announcement this week, women's tennis world number 1 Ash Barty announced her retirement from real life tennis after winning the Australian Open in January, and also revealed her new sport: Wii Tennis. In her Instagram post, Barty told viewers that she 'was fulfilled from the real thing', and that she 'hopes her tennis skills translate across to Wii Sports'. Barty cites Tiger Woods, Muhammad Ali and Babe Ruth as idols who also made the switch from the real life sports to their video game counterparts.
