Artist sells abstract hair-on-shower-wall Rorschach-inspired artwork for $50M

ARTISTIC GENIUS: Local up-and-coming abstract artist, Jennifer Lewis, has recently auctioned a one-of-a-kind piece depicting clumps of hair on a shower wall. Jennifer states that she was inspired by Rorschach tests, as she had an interest in objects that could take on various shapes in different minds. The idea came to her after washing her hair in the shower, when she noticed an abnormal clump of hair had been pulled from her head. As all people do, she disposed of the hair by placing it on the wall, but then decided to manipulate the hair into an abstract shape. She then captured an image of the artwork and listed it for auction the following day, ultimately selling for $50M
